Description

Stonehenge Hard Fescue will perform well in full sun or full shade. Stonehenge has excellent heat and drought tolerance. Its fine leaves are able to resist moisture loss better than many other cool-season grasses. Stonehenge exhibits excellent seedling vigor, establishment rates and season-long turf density.

Stonehenge can be used as a mono-stand in areas where attractive turf is desired, but low-maintenance (nominal watering, little or no fertilizer, and infrequent moisture) is needed. Such areas may include hard to mow sites, slopes, creek banks, roadsides, golf course roughs, and non-irrigated fairways. Other uses include reclamation sites, vineyards and orchards.

Stonehenge is primarily recommended as a component in mixtures that would likely include Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and other fine fescues.
